It has been over a half decade since the third installment of Walt Disney Pictures’ “Toy Story” made a wonderful record in the box office and everybody expected to see another sequel in the near future. Finally, the announcement of another sequel of the franchise titled “Toy Story 4” in the last year was no less than adding fuel to the fans’ expectations from John Lasseter, the director of the franchise.
The release date for “Toy Story 4” is recently being revealed by the Hollywood star, Tom Hanks, who is much known for giving life to the iconic character Woody in the movie franchise. “The Da Vinci Code” actor also revealed that the movie is presently amongst the projects the Disney has been working on.
Although some of Disney’s executives earlier opted to keep the movie updates under wraps, Hanks dared to share the news that the recording would be commenced in December this year. The 59-year old actor even revealed his own recording session with the production in this month.
According to Ecumenical News, Hanks further elaborated that he was in trouble while admitting the movie’s development. But he took no time to remind the Disney execs that he was the only actor to play everyone’s favorite character Woody. He was suddenly stuck with a microphone by someone and questioned about probable happening of “Toy Story 4.”
While he revealed the absolute chances for the movie, Disney lawyer called him next day and reminded not to discuss further information as it might affect Disney’s stock market price.
Based on a report from HelloGiggles (via MNR Daily), the much-anticipated movie “Toy Story 4” is scheduled to hit the big screen on June 15, 2018. If everything goes well with the fourth installment as we expect, this will be the third time for Lasseter work as a director with Josh Cooley.
