Now here is something that will make you question the authenticity of Toy Story series. Tom Hanks has revealed that when he gets tired, he asks his brother Jim to voice Woody for him. Read On!

Every star has a stunt double, but few in the industry have a voice double. Tom Hanks is happy to have a voice double for those days when he is tired of doing the same dialog over and over again. Apparently, developing a voice script for an animation film like “Toy Story 4” involves hours of work where voice actors are asked to speak the dialogue until the movie directors in the recording studio are completely satisfied with the result.

As a result, actors like Tom Hanks are forced to say a line of script until their mouth is dry and their vocal chords hurt from doing the same line over and over again.

When the entire script is converted into an audio sample, the cast can take a break. This audio track is also called a scratch track. The scratch track is often re-recorded when the animated video has been completely finalized. Thus, the voice actors are called into the studio again to re-record the audio track.

Even after the movie’s release, the voice actors are expected to continue their work with the franchise if toys or dolls based on the film are also planned to be released. Hence, recording audio for a film like “Toy Story 4” is tough and tiresome.
