“Transformers 5”: The Series To Continue, Followed By An Animated Version

Transformers 5 the robotic adventure of Optimus Prime and his colleagues shall continue with the famous movie series along with an animated approach to the same. Up until now we have seen how Sam Witwicky (Shia Labeouf), Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager (more recently) and Optimus Prime together have saved the Earth from Megatrons. Transformers 5 is a part of the already established franchise with the story yet unknown.

According to VCpost Akiva Goldsman is spearheading a writers team for this exciting project. Speaking to them Goldsman said “Our hope is that they are all interconnected and of course standalone, right? I think architecturally, the best — I think I believe this — the best serialized storytelling has integrity from start to finish of the episode, whether it be TV or a movie or comic book or novel series or short story series.” As of now no cast or director has been signed for the new project. Although it is rumored that Goldsman shall write the story with his team of writers who include, from ‘The Walking Dead’ series Robert Kirkman and from ‘Daredevil’ Steven DeKnight and from ‘Black Hawk Down’ Kevin Nolan.

Meanwhile according to transformerslive.blogspot, the animated series shall be construed by the team that gained plaudits for their work in the Ant-man Movie. The animated movie shall show us the world known as “Cybertron”. But it is yet not clear whether the movie will telecast the war between the Autobots and Decepticons or will it reveal the source of events that gave rise to their fall out.

The movie set for release in 2017 therefore Goldsman must have already started to gather the pieces for his new adventure. So far as the animated movie is concerned the team has around 2 to 3 years of time frame to complete the project. It would be interesting to see who leads the star cast for voice dubbing. With Paramount’s intention to copy the Disney strategy of a Movie per year it will need to frame the both the movies in a required time frame. So that TF5 is released in 2017, the animated will be released in 2018 and TF6 in 2019.

With fans already excited to watch the series continue they surely in a treat with the animated movie too. Aren’t you excited too?
