The 1986 animated film was adopted by Hasbro in 2007 and teaming up with Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay they created decades most creative science fiction movie. However, the performance was below par on box office; the film was indeed the fifth highest grossing film in 2007 grabbing a whopping $700 million worldwide. Hasbro has been unfortunate with the G.I Joe series, therefore, taking appropriate steps to garnish it along with Transformers series. With “Transformers 5” fast approaching, Hasbro has revealed a few secrets regarding the storyline of the movie. Read On!

According to Movieweb, Actor Mark Ryan, who featured as Jetfire’s voice, said during the wings and wheels convention that the storyline in “Transformers 5” will have two stories. One will comprise Mark Wahlberg as Cade Yeager, who will team up with Autobots and save the world, while the other will revolve around Optimus Prime’s expedition in finding the Quintessons, the founders of their race.

Though two different stories, it will be eventually merged together, but this time with change in script writers, the story will definitely be the topic among critics and fans. Although this might not certainly be the end of the Transformers series, it will be the start of a new era for the series.

According to Vinereport, Stephen Davis, the President of Hasbro while speaking in his speech at the MIP Junior Conference, stated that script for Transformers series is ready for up to ten years. Davis has full confidence in the new script writers who will be working under the supervision of Academy Award winner Akiva Goldsman.

Goldsman has also been handed over the reigns of supervising the G.I Joe and Micronauts. With Matt Holloway and Art Marcum of Iron Man and Ken Nolan of Black Hawk Down, the fans are in a treat with the Transformers series. However, care should be taken as the sudden change in the storyline should not affect the entire series.
