Transformers Five Akiva Goldsman To Supervise For Paramount And Hasbro Projects

Akiva Goldsman who led the transformers through his writing was set aside from his duties of story writing by his employers. The Academy award winner have written many inspiring stories that have exploded on the box office. A glimpse of his work is he is the writer of worldwide hits such as ‘A beautiful Mind’, ‘I Robot’ and ‘I am Legend’. But Paramount along with Steven Spielberg and Michael Bay thought a change of duties were necessary, which resulted in Goldsman’s change of duties.

According to Deadline Paramount and Hasbro have appointed to Goldsman to supervise the writer’s room working for the G.I. Joe movie series. This eventually means Goldsman will not write for the upcoming Transformers movie. Apparently his good work in Transformers series have led to his appointment for G.I. Joe and further for Micronauts property. Akiva have already received great plaudits in his glittering career and now Paramount and Hasbro is providing him another opportunity to prolong it even further.

With Iron Man’s Matt Holloway and Art Marcum, Ken Nolan of Black Hawk Down are running for the script writers position under the supervision of Goldsman for the next Transformer 5. According to Tformers Goldsman will not contribute directly but will be involved one way or the other. Paramount and Hasbro want to promote G.I. Joe series after its not so good start on the box office and they are confident Goldsman is the right man to take the series forward. With Goldsman again under supervisory role in G.I. Joe series it will attract the much needed storyline which will help the threatened series a helpline. Further if the Iron Man team of Holloway and Marcum along with Ken Nolan if assigned can do wonders with Goldsman as supervisor. It is therefore exciting times ahead for G.I. Joe and Transformers fans as they might witness something extra-ordinary in the next movie series. Meanwhile it will be interesting to see whether Goldsman gets affected by the decision of Paramount and Hasbro and becomes a cause of concern in the development of one established and one struggling movie series.
