Since Sookie was so devastated that Bill would not accept the cure, she went to Sam only to find out that he left with his family. However, he left a note for her. She then went to Bellefleur’s and announced that Sam has left the town then took Sheriff Andy to the backroom to show Sam’s letter.

Meanwhile, Jessica headed to Hoyt’s house to seek forgiveness; but when she got there, Hoyt was ready to talk to her. We all know that Bridget gave Hoyt an ultimatum that if Hoyt talks to Jessica, it’s all over. Hoyt still did, and defeated Bridget went directly to Jason’s house.

Eric came to Bill’s house to talk and to convince him that he should get the cure. However, Bill was really determined to die and face his true death, and he turned it down. Eric even told him that he has to do that for Sookie, hence the episode’s title. Bill confided his true feelings to Eric and asked him if he could tell all of that to Sookie. Eric, althoug hesitant, still agreed but told Bill that this was going to be the last favor that he’s going to do for him.

Eric found Sookie and he told her everything that Bill told him. However, Sookie did not buy it. Back at Fangtasia, Pam dyed Sarah’s hair blonde. When Eric got back, he found Pam tied to a table with a stake aimed at her heart. Gus Jr. wanted to know if Sookie knows the truth about Sarah, and Eric said yes. He let go of Pam, but with Gus Jr. wanted to know where Sookie lives.
