Almost 2 decades after his untimely death a lot of people still believe that the famous rapper, Tupac Shakur is still alive. Though Suge Knight is in prison charged with Tupac’s death, there are still a lot of speculations as to why the rapper was killed and who killed him.
Several days ago a new conspiracy theory went viral; a supposedly dying man who happens to be a cop admitted that he was part of a conspiracy to keep the real story about Tupac Shakur’s death. Reports said that a retired police officer on his deathbed claims he was paid $1.5 million to help fake Tupac’s death.
Last Friday, a British tabloid claimed that a former Vegas cop, David Myers, supposedly confessed on his deathbed that the rapper was still alive. And that he and more than 30 people helped fake Tupac’s death, including Suge Knight.
The retired cop was said to admit that he is penitent and humiliated of what he did. “The world needs to know what I did,” Myers supposedly said. “I’m ashamed that I let a price be put on my word and I cannot die without letting the world know.”
After further investigation, it was found out that the story of the supposed interview originated from a fake news website called, Daily Media Buzz. Additional research garnered data that the photo depicting a man in a hospital (of Myers) used in same news article was that of a man, Walter “Snowball” Williams, who made headlines last year because he woke up in a funeral parlor back in his home in Mississippi where people thought he was already dead.
We don’t need more information or data to point out the inconsistencies and deceptions surrounding this supposed confession. This story is definitely a hoax.
