The Tyler Oakley and Liam Payne feud is far from over. The YouTube star has dissed the One Direction member and obviously his fans would not have any of it. The hashtag liamdefensesquad even made its way to the Twitter trending list.
According to Hollywood Life, Tyler Oakley received many hate messages from One Direction fans after he made a snide comment about Liam Payne in his social media account. It was said that an eagle-eyed fans saw that the singer followed Tyler on Twitter but he did not follow back. He then said that he intentionally decided to not do so.
“It’s important to keep my timeline flawfree,” he said.
As Unreality TV reported, Tyler Oakley first slammed Liam Payne on Twitter when the latter expressed his support towards Duck Dynasty’s Willie Robertson. The One Direction member tweeted Willie saying:
“huge love to you/your family huge respect for your business prosperities and the family values you still all behold. big fan.”
This tweet allegedly irked Tyler as Willie was known to be a huge homophobic and racist. He posted that he was really disappointed with the singer. He added that the tweet “literally changed everything” and that he no longer sees himself as a fan of the singer.
Tyler’s anger towards Liam, however, has not been extended towards the other members of One Direction. The website further reported that the YouTube star has tweeted Niall Horan about the setlist in Brussels, adding that he enjoyed their song “No Control.”
