“Tyrant” Season 2, Episode 8 “Fathers and Sons” tackled about father and son relationship, hence the episode’s title. It involves the relationship of Jamal and Rami and Barry and Sammy. Read on for more details.
In the previous episode of “Tyrant” Season 2, Sammy tried to save his gay friend from dying. However, he was too late and he was already dead. Now, he has decided to make use of his inheritance to fund a rebel group, Khalil. Little did he know that the rebel group is actually run by his father, whom he presumed death, Barry.
Barry heard about a rich teenage boy who wants to provide the funds for his group. Of course, he doesn’t trust that easily. He asked his men to dig up more details about this boy. He set that aside for now. It was because he has the matters to think of. Barry, who is under the disguise of his group’s name, reached out to Rami who is aware of his group and made a deal with him.
Nusrat has lost her child and she is devastated. Leila, her mother-in-law told her that she has to divorce Ahmed because she can’t produce an heir anymore. As much as Nusrat wants to divorce Ahmed before her miscarriage, she’s having second thoughts now especially that she has nothing to hold him anymore.
Jamal found out that Rami struck a deal with the Khalil group without his permission. Now he’s starting to suspect Rami that he’s up to something.
As for Sammy, he finally found out that Barry is alive and the leader of the rebel group that he’s about to fund. However, Barry doesn’t want to let him know stuff about him for now but he promises to get in touch with his wife, Molly, soon.
