Read on to learn more about the “Undateable” recaps for the Season 1 Premiere of NBC’s “Undateable.”
“Undateable” Episode 1 “Pilot” is directed by Scott Ellis and written by Adam Sztykiel, Bill Lawrence and Jeff Inglod. It was aired on May 29, 2014.
Moving on. Danny’s married roommate has finally left the building! Now, Danny was forced to find another one whom he can share the rent with. Good thing is that he had found the perfect candidate in bar owner, Justin (Brent Morin). Who cannot refuse getting free booze from a roommate? Obviously, it’s not Danny.
The undateables. Little did Danny know, Justin had his own set of oddballs including Shelly (comedian Ron Funches), Burski (Rick Glassman) and Brett (David Fynn). He also found out that they have a lot to learn in the “dating area.”
The ladies’ man strikes again. Justin owned a bar, but that doesn’t mean that he gets on with the ladies. He informed Danny that he was trying to hit on his barista named Nicki (Briga Heelan) for more than a year now. Justin was then coached with several tricks by Danny and his friends. In the end, Justin spent the night with Danny’s recently divorced sister, Leslie (Bianca Kajlich).
“Undateable” Season 1 Episode 2 “Pants Buddies” (air date: May 29, 2014) is directed by Scott Ellis and written by Adam Sztykiel.
Danny takes action. Upon learning about Justin’s “80 weeks” old crush on Nicki, Danny gets the ball rolling by using Justin’s phone to ask her for a movie date. Justin went on to lie that he sent a wrong text that was intended for his “fake” friend named Nick.
The game of love. Justin had confronted him that he doesn’t need Danny’s advice on scoring a date. To his surprise, he learned that Danny’s advice had worked magically on some of his buddies including Burski, who was trying for years.
Travelling pants buddies. Back at their shared loft, Justin shared that he accompanied Burski on his way for a job interview. Unfortunately, he had spilled his caffeine drink on his friend. The accident had made their friendship stronger when Justin exchanged pants with him. Justin got mad and stormed off after Danny made fun of the “underpants gang.” With a little coaching from his sister, Danny relived the incident and switched pants with Justin.
