Briga Heelan appeared for multi-episodes on “Undateable” in the first season, playing the role of Nicki, Justin’s long-distance girlfriend. This week, the actress returns to reprise her role, but it’s not going to be a happy reunion. Read on for more details.
After failing to define the kind of relationship they have and after Danny (Chris D’ Elia) convinces Justin (Brent Morin) that Nicki is only leading him on (in the previous episode “Candace’s Boyfriend Walks Into A Bar” air date: Mar. 24, 2015), guess who comes back to Detroit and rips Justin’s heart in person? Yes, Nicki!
In the upcoming episode, “An Imaginary Torch Walks into a Bar” which will air this Tuesday, Mar. 31, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. on NBC, Justin’s former girlfriend will proudly announce that she’s actually engaged (to a guy played by Rene Gube). But to show that there’s no bad blood between them, Justin will actually offer to host the engagement party for the couple at his own bar. It’s a good thing Danny is there so that Justin can have someone to lean on. He’s still crushed Nicki has not chosen to be with him. It’s also a good thing Danny is there to smack some sense into Justin, right? He needs a wake-up call!
Meanwhile, there’s another love story angle in this week’s episode with Burski (Rick Glassman). He is convinced that Leslie (Bianca Kajlich) is the girl for him. He has been giving her hints for the longest time, and time and again, she has rejected his advances. But with the help of new girl Candace (Bridgit Mendler), she’s going to help the gang see that there really is a romantic side to Burski. Will Leslie take notice, too?
The episode will also feature series regular Ron Funchess (as Shelly) and David Flynn (as Brett). Don’t’ forget to check out the clip to the episode in the video below with Brent Morin and Bridgit Mendler singing about the latest episode.
