Summer 2017 will be filled with action-packed thriller and excellent movies. There are some of the most awaited movies lined up ahead which are going to set new records on box office. Check out the films which are slated to be released in the next few months ahead.

Guardians of the Galaxy Vol. 2 – May 5, 2017

The Marvel superhero film directed by James Gunn will team up with Guardians of the Galaxy in one frame. The film stars Chris Pratt, Zoe Saldana, Dave Bautista, Vin Diesel, Bradley Cooper, Michael Rooker, and Karen Gillan in the lead roles.

In addition to this, the story begins a few months after the first part when the guardians travel through the cosmos. On the other hand, they all try to help the new member of their squad, Peter Quill, to find out about his parentage.

King Arthur: Legend of the Sword – May 12, 2017

The upcoming 2017 movie is directed by Guy Ritchie and stars Charlie Hunnam, who is taking on the lead role. The story begins with the young Arthur who is unaware about his inheritance. But, he comes to find out about his royal lineage after he is able to draw the legendary sword, Excalibur, from the stone. Other cast members of the film include Àstrid Bergès-Frisbey,  Djimon Hounsou, Aidan Gillen, and Jude Law.

It is a family comedy-drama film which is adapted from the book of the similar name written by author Jeff Kinney. It is the remake of the popular television series directed by Seth Gordon. The action drama film has a star-studded cast which includes Dwayne Johnson, Zac Efron, Alexandra Daddario, Priyanka Chopra, and Kelly Rohrbach. Their story is similar and will consist of a few changes It is speculated that the film is likely to break all previous box office records of this year.

Pirates of the Caribbean: Dead Men Tell No Tales – May 26, 2017

The fantasy swashbuckler flick starring Johnny Depp and Orlando Bloom is finally hitting the big screen. The highly anticipated movie has suffered major delays but is finally ready for release. Also, there are already several trailers out for the 2017 movie which features the chase for Captain Jack Sparrow by an old rival, Armando Salazar. Interestingly, the film will open on the same day as Baywatch.
