Can you remember when we had last seen a human with vampire genes? It has been more than a decade since we were amused by seeing the vampire-hunting daywalker in the movie “Blade: Trinity.” If all the rumors are not false, then the “Blade” franchise fans will once again see the comeback of the typical characters soon. Read below if you love vampire movies.
Joe Quesada, Marvel Studio’s Chief Creative Officer, once at San Diego Comic Con 2011, said that Marvel had got back the films to “Blade,” and it already had a film script ready in the mid of 2013 for a new “Blade” film. So, there is no iota of doubt that Marvel is going to launch a new sequel to the original 1998’s “Blade.”
However, according to a report released by Bleeding Cool, the final outcome is getting deferred as the comic is being observed as an “extremely important by the bean counters, and the multi-media folk” at Marvel. The media outlet has also claimed that Marvel is mulling over to bring an alteration in the lead character, which could be vampire hunter, Blade’s daughter, Fallon Grey.
According to Slash Film, Tim Seeley, comic writer of “Blade,” described the 16-year-old Fallon as follows:
“She’s a sort of ‘anti-Peter Parker.’ She’s popular, she’s well-liked and it seems like the world is her oyster. But, the expectations that come with being so damn perfect are starting to break her down, and that’s before she learns she’s the heir to a Daywalking-Monster-Stabbing-Empire.”
Wesley Snipes, the original “Blade” actor, said during Comic Con last month that he was in talk with Marvel to come back to the world of Blade, which denotes that he might take on a father-cum-mentor’s role. But would you like the new idea following the adventure of Grey or you want to see the upcoming sequel on the same lead character once again? Let us know your opinions.
