USA Network has just picked up a new show, and it is going to be very intense as it is something that the viewers have not seen before. It has a different take on the human race against an invasion of outside forces. Read on to learn more about this scoop.

“Colony” is set to air on the USA Network, which is from creator and executive producer Carlton Cuse (“Lost”) and Ryan Condal (“Hercules”). With that being said, the show will join “STANISTAN” and “Mr. Robot.”

“‘Colony'” is a gripping story that brilliantly weaves together an intense family drama in an authentic, yet unknown, world. We are pleased to be in business with Ryan Condal and Carlton Cuse, who is clearly one of the best in the industry when it comes to genre fiction,”  said Chris McCumber, president of USA Network, in a statement published on Broadway World.

“Colony” is set in the near future, and it centers around a family that is being torn apart by extraterrestrial creatures and has to make such hard choices as they try to stay together and, at the same time, survive. The story is set in Los Angeles. Some people work with authorities while the others rebel, who eventually gets punished for their actions.

It is not your ordinary “alien vs. human” story because from its storyline, it looks like the viewers are going to see a lot underneath the power of the aliens over humans. The viewers will witness how a family stays together amidst the chaos, and that makes the show really interesting.

As of the moment, that’s all we know about “Colony,” but details will unravel soon enough. For now, what do you think of this new show from USA Network? Is it something that you would like to see? Share your thoughts by posting your comments below!
