If you have Damon Salvatore in your life and you lost him, can you move on that easily? “The Vampire Diaries” (TVD) Season 6 marks the continuation of the TV series after Damon’s death. However, TVD fans were rest assured that Damon will still be in the show. Don’t believe us? The CW has released the show’s very first teaser. Read on for further details.

In the teaser, we saw Elena having a hard time moving on. We heard Stefan tell her, “Damon’s gone. You need to say goodbye too.” It does not look like Elena is ready to let go and move on because it looks like she’s using something to give her Damon “hallucinations” just to see him again. Well, that’s what Caroline said in the teaser.

The teaser ends with Damon’s ghostly figure behind the grieving Elena, telling her to “move on.” However, it looks like she does not want to, and she is going to hold on to Damon for a long time.

The question here lies will Elena be able to move on if Damon is really dead? Damon’s appearance in the teaser could mean a lot of things: he may be a hallucination or it may be some form of magic that allows Damon to stay in contact with Elena. If that’s the case, then they are going to need Bonnie, right?

“The Vampire Diaries” Season 6 is getting more exciting. If we based our judgments on how this season will turn out by looking back on the show’s previous seasons, surely, there will be a lot of shocking twists and turns.
