One of the names associated with LGBT campaigns is the “Real Housewives of Beverly Hills” (RHOBH) and “Vanderpump Rules” boss Lisa Vanderpump. Because of this, Vanderpump is the lucky one to give the first pitch during the Los Angeles Dodgers’ third “LGBT Pride Night,” which is held every year. Read on for details.
LGBT Pride Night is the annual celebration for lesbian, gay, bisexual and transgender fans of the LA Dodgers. Naturally, some celebrities who strongly support the LGBT will appear during the event on Friday, June 19, 2015, according to Sun Times. Aside from Vanderpump, celebrities who are confirmed to attend the event are former NSYNC member Lance Bass, gay country singer Ty Herndon for the national anthem and the controversial Billy Bean, the former player of Dodgers who declared he is gay after retiring from baseball.
GYM Sportsbar, LA’s only sports bar for gays, will take part in the event’s promotion activities. Tickets include a spot in the Coca-Cola All-You-Can-Eat Pavilion and a commemorative t-shirt from the event, based on the Dodgers’ official website.
The LGBT event will be held on the same day as the Dodgers vs. San Francisco Giants game. Tickets are sold from $38 to $73.
Another big LGBT supporter is the award-winning pop star Lady GaGa. Coincidentally, GaGa and Vanderpump are good friends. GaGa recently posted a beautifully filtered photo of Vanderpump on Instagram. She wrote on the caption that she loves her friend and, at the same time, “playmate.” She did not explain further what playmate means and what they have been up to lately.
“I love my playmate. My friend @lisavanderpump,” GaGa stated.
Bravo has no official announcement yet regarding “Vanderpump Rules” Season 4 premiere.
