With the new season of TV reality series “Vanderpump Rules” now rolling since early November, everybody’s been asking about how are things going with Jax Taylor and his ex-girlfriend Stassi Schroeder. With Schroeder having a new boyfriend and Taylor not even knowing his current status, their relationship with each other is pretty much a mystery.
After their breakup at Season 2, everyone has been stoked over the possibility of a fight between the two during Season 3, but so far, things were rather quiet between them. Co-star Tom Sandoval tells HollywoodLife.com exclusively that the two do not talk at all, even when cameras are not rolling.
During an interview for Bustle, Taylor expresses his regret of cheating on Schroeder and sleeping with her best friend Kristen Doute. However, he showed hints that he didn’t actually miss dating Schroeder nor did he regret breaking up with her after three years together.
“[The relationship] was so toxic. A lot of people didn’t see a lot of what actually happened. We dated for three years. And we started the show at the very end of our relationship. Literally. The very end. [The breakup] was actually not planned, it just happened. So, you know, the relationship the last six months before the show was such a disaster, such a mess, which people do not know. And this show, it captured all our downfall. On the show,” shared Taylor to HollywoodLife.com.
Taylor adds that he was confused with their relationship, and he felt unwanted. He also said that though cheating is a bad thing, it is sadly a common occurrence. Unfortunately for him, his situation was publicized and made things difficult between them.
“Do I condone [cheating]? Absolutely not. Can I justify it? Absolutely not. But it happened. We moved on. That’s it.”
By now, it’s probably safe to say that the two have moved on from each other. Hopefully, we’ll get to see them talking to each other in Season 3 and finally letting bygones be bygones.
