“Vanderpump Rules” Season 3 Episode 16 “Ring on a String” aired last Feb. 16, 2015 at 9:00 p.m. on Bravo. The episode kicks off with the end of Scheana Marie and Michael Shay’s wedding rites. Read on to know what happens next.

In the wedding reception, Kristen Doute approaches Lisa Vanderpump. She apologizes but insists that Lisa never likes her. Lisa clarifies that she never likes Kristen’s attitude. Kristen thanks and hugs her before she walks away. Lisa’s frown is obvious.

Meanwhile, Stassi Schroeder and Kristina are hanging out in a bar to “celebrate” Scheana’s wedding. Kristina lets Stassi see the wedding photos on her phone. Both girls are trying to resist their laughter because of Scheana’s wedding dress that looks “skanky” to them. Stassi cannot believe Scheana wears a crop-top gown. She also criticizes Lisa’s “bondage” gown. However, she thinks the lady is still hotter than her, which becomes annoying. She says the only disappointing thing about not being invited to the wedding is missing the open bar. Kristina starts to make fun of Ken Vanderpump and Giggy’s matching outfits. The two best friends laugh again about the crop-top gown.

Back to the wedding reception, Tom Schwartz admits that he also wants to get married. However, he thinks it is not time yet. Meanwhile, Vail approaches Jax Taylor and Carmen Dickman. Carmen gets annoyed because she thinks Jax is flirting with Vail.

Backstage, Scheana is giving specific instructions to the wedding coordinator, Danielle. She is about to have her grand entrance at the reception. However, she gets furious that the music’s timing is not coinciding with her plan. She cannot believe that Danielle finds it hard to follow simple instructions. The music is stopped to give way to Scheana’s favorite song. Scheana’s stress disappears as she faces the cheering crowd.

While Scheana and Shay are dancing to a love song, Jax forces Carmen to kiss him. Suddenly, Scheana dances dirty to a club music. Some people are disturbed.

While the guests are eating and mingling with each other, Schwartz asks Katie Maloney to go somewhere private and romantic. They go to a beautiful gazebo. Schwartz tells Katie how much he loves her. Then he takes a small jewelry box from his pocket. He shows Katie a golden ring, which is made as a pendant for a necklace. Katie cries because she feels offended. She tells Schwartz that the only ring she wants to receive is an engagement ring.

Meanwhile, Jax tells Carmen how happy he is because it is his first time to witness a wedding. He invites her to be with him for the night. Carmen tells him that she already has said before that she is not going to spend the night at the reception.

Stassi and Kristina continue their drinking session at Scheana’s apartment. With the latest photos online, Stassi cannot believe that a girl wearing a crop-top gown is able to pull off an elegant wedding reception. She suddenly remembers wanting Katie to be her maid-of-honor before. She laughs and tells Kristina that they look like losers getting drunk.

Lisa notices Katie crying alone on a bench. Katie tells her that she received a “ring on a string” from Schwartz. She slowly gets teary-eyed again. Lisa empathizes so much that she cries as well. She starts to doubt if Schwartz is really worth the wait for Katie. She simply suggests choosing between staying and going. Katie agrees. Lisa reminds her to never settle for second best.

Emotions start to brew as well on the dance floor. Scheana is still furious because the music gets boring. James Kennedy and Kristen are busy arguing because James is too drunk already. At the parking lot, James chases Kristen who is going home with her fitness trainer, Trevor.

On the other hand, Jax is having a bad night with the girls. He notices that his flirting skills are slowly deteriorating. He even tells a woman unconsciously that she is fat.

Back to the parking lot, Kristen was going to walk away when James grabs her. She strongly punches him on the face.

At the reception, Jax gets hopeless that he even goes to Lisa as his last resort. He is so frustrated that Lisa is his married boss. Lisa straightforwardly turns him down.

Scheana also gets frustrated that she cries in front of Ariana Madix. She tells her that she has not done yet the traditional wedding reception activities like cutting the cake, throwing the bouquet and taking off the garter, but some people are already going home. Ariana assures her that they will do all of those things no matter what.

Finally, everybody is having a good time on the dance floor, including Scheana, Katie, Schwartz and Jax. However, James approaches Tom Sandoval and tells him that he was punched on the face by Kristen. Tom is disappointed that James still defends his girlfriend.

The party continues in Scheana and Shay’s suite. James tells Scheana that Kristen punched him and went with Trevor. The bride is so surprised.

The next day, Scheana wakes up early. She notices that she is not happy. She is also disappointed that she does not have the so-called “glow” with newlywed women. Her reason for waking up early is that the venue must be spotless before noontime, so she will not have to pay extra. Good thing her friends are there as the cleaning crew. Scheana shares to everybody that Kristen is so rude to incite a fight during her wedding. She promises to herself to never invite Kristen to any personal events ever.

While cleaning the fountain, Scheana is still excited to realize that she got married. The cleaning crew gives her a slow clap.
