Vanessa Williams married her fiance and longtime boy friend Jim Skrip, on Saturday, July 4. This is the third marriage for the singer-actress.
According to abc NEWS, Vanessa Williams tied the knot with ex-accountant Jim Skrip, on July 4. A representative of Vanessa confirmed the wedding news on Sunday.
The source reported that the singer-actress was previously married o Ramon Hervey, public relations consultant, after which she married Rick Fox, former Los Angeles Laker. Vanessa, a former Miss America contestant, has three children with Ramon, and a daughter with Rick.
Vanessa Williams’ marriage with Skrip is her third marriage. The 52-year-old Williams met Jim while she travelled in Egypt.
Vanessa has released eight studio albums. The singer-actress has also received many Emmy nominations for her outstanding performance on ABC’s “Ugly Betty.”
William’s rep told People magazine that the “Ugly Betty” star Vanessa and Jim married in front of their family and friends, reported CNN. Vanessa and Skrip were engaged in September on “The Queen Latifah Show,” added the source. The source revealed that the Grammy-nominated singer met Skrip on a Nile cruise in the year 2013, and they fell in love.
