Many love the Victoria’s Secret angels. Whether they are walking down the runway with barely nothing on or photographed fully clothed on the street, there is just something about these women that prove there truly is “Heaven on Earth.”
Victoria’s Secret is a brand that has been popularly known for their selection of gorgeous models wearing very little clothing as they walk down the runway. These women, called Angels, are undoubtedly gorgeous and exceed everyone’s definition of what beauty is about. A lot of men fantasize about them, and many women want to be them. But what happens when they are photographed fully clothed? Will the audience love them just the same?
On Wednesday, Victoria’s Secret revealed that they will be airing an ad for the TV broadcast of the much-awaited Super Bowl. The ad will be airing in the fourth quarter of the game after a two-minute warning. In line with the upcoming season, the ad will have a theme of Valentine’s Day, just like it has in the past.
Back in 2008, Victoria’s Secret used the Super Bowl to promote its upcoming Valentine’s Day line in an ad. On the following year, the company used the slot given to them to promote their online lingerie fashion show.
Following the same Valentine’s Day theme for their marketing efforts, this year’s Super Bowl ad will do just the same. Together with the official announcement, the company posted a teaser of the ad video, which features some of the best Angels: Adriana Lima, Candice Swanepoel, Doutzen Kroes, Lily Aldrige and Behati Prinsloo.
As seen on the clip, the Angels are dressed in football gear but still manage to be drop dead gorgeous in these uniforms. The video ends with the message: “Don’t drop the ball. It’s not Valentine’s Day without Victoria’s Secret.”
The marketing people behind Victoria’s Secret definitely knows that a lot of men will be glued to their TV sets on that day. With this opportunity, they will be able to hit their right target and increase their sales as men realize they need to buy their ladies a Victoria’s Secret apparel.
