After her “I hate America” statement, it seems like the “Love Me Harder” singer Ariana Grande is getting another attention after news of her having a feud with Victoria Justice circled around the internet. Read on for more details.
The news of Grande and Justice having a fight has been surfacing over the past few years. According to Cambio, the two Nickelodeon alumni have allegedly competed since their “Victorious” days where they starred together. It was eventually canceled by the network. Some reports claimed that the Grande felt it was Justice’s fault that the show ended.
Last month, Grande made a statement in her interview with Seventeen Magazine where she said she was so unhappy working on “Victorious” because “she’s with someone who told her they’d never like her.” This singer statement made many fans wonder if she was referring to Justice, her co-star
Grande also added that for some reason, she felt like she needed that person’s approval so she started to change herself to please that person.
“It made me stop being social and friendly. I was so unhappy.” Grande said.
News about their feud got louder and louder when it seemed like the rumors have been confirmed earlier this year. It was because of Grande’s answer to a question about “Sam and Cat” ruined “Victorious,” which was sent by a fan on Ask.FM. The singer responded and later deleted that the reason why “Victorious” because one girl didn’t want to do it that that girl chose to do the solo tour instead of a cast tour.
“If we had done a cast tour Nickelodeon would have ordered another season of “Victorious” while “Sam and Cat” filmed simultaneously but she chose otherwise. I’m sick of this bs,” Grande added.
In response, Justice tweeted: “Some people would throw some1 that they consider a friend under the bus just 2 make themselves look good. #StopBeingAPhony #IfTheyOnlyKnew”
“You just can’t hide from the truth.” Grande tweeted.
However, both parties cleared the air regarding their feud rumors; Grande posted in her Tumblr while Justice had an exclusive interview with HuffPost Live.
The outlet also reported that Grande clarified her statements by posting on her personal Tumblr account. She said that she was misquoted and her answers have nothing to do with Justice at all. She said that her years filming “Victorious” were some of the happiest of her life and that the cast were a family to her.
While Justice says in her interview that there’s no feuding going on, Grande even texted her before the magazine issue came out saying that she’s sorry. She’s not talking about her but about someone on Broadway she had worked with.
Justice hope now that since she and Grande already talked about it and cleared things up about the said feed issues between them, people can now put it aside and they can practice what “Frozen” preaches, “let it go. Let’s let it go!” she told MTV.
