Everyone was charmed with the way Vin Diesel carried out the voice-acting role of the gentle giant, Groot, in Marvel’s latest movie hit, “Guardians of the Galaxy.” It looks like that’s not just the only Marvel movie he will be starring in as he teases his “Inhumans” role.
“I am Groot” was the only line that indicated Diesel’s participation in Marvel’s “Guardians of the Galaxy,” but it was more than enough for him to capture the awe factor from the audiences. Originally, director James Gunn did not plan to have him voice out Groot for the movie as he was actually brought in for a different Marvel movie.
In Screen Rant’s report, Diesel made hints that a fresh IP is intended to hit the theaters in the coming years, 2016 and 2017. Judging from those facts alone alone, we can somehow assume that plans were definitely made for the actor to take part in the MCU for Phase 3 and beyond.
“Vin and Marvel… you all made it happen. I get the strange feeling Marvel thinks I’m Inhuman… haha,” mused the actor in on his official Facebook page.
It doesn’t take a professional critic to figure out that the “Fast and the Furious” actor is definitely hinting something about his involvement in another Marvel movie franchise with the way he capitalized “Inhuman” on his post. Still, this isn’t enough for fans to get excited just yet. Nonetheless, lots of rumors for the “Inhuman” franchise have been circumnavigating the entertainment industry for years now as the studio has been keeping their eyes on it for quite some time now.
In lieu of such matter, IGN’s feature indicated that the big boss of Marvel Studios Kevin Feige expressed their deep interest into adapting the comic book as another film franchise. He even stated that such project has been part of the discussion that their company is going through with lately. Be that as it may, fans can still be hopeful that such movie could make its way to the big screen, judging from the many dates that Marvel booked for unannounced films.
For those who are not overly familiar with “The Inhumans,” the story follows a group of experimented characters. These exhibitions are conducted by Kree on primordial men. As Kree moves off of the experimenting scene, the test subjects were abandoned to create a society on their own account, which resulted to the birth of a community of misfits.
Diesel’s role in “The Inhumans” may not be that clear just yet, but we can be sure for him to return in “Guardians of the Galaxy 2” on July 2017.
That concludes our scoop on Vin Diesel’s hints about his “Inhuman” role. Keep tabs on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates in the entertainment world.
