Vin Diesel Shares Image and Release Date Update for ‘The Last Witch Hunter’

Despite his stoic appearance, Vin Diesel never falls short in expressing his appreciation towards his fans. As of late, he shares new images and updates on his upcoming fantasy film, “The Last Witch Hunter.” Read on to know more about this scoop.

In the many movies that Diesel has starred in, we always see him getting more and more stoic in his character portrayals, with the active exemption of Groot, who was just adorably bad ass. Much to everyone’s acceptance, we’re all pumped to know the update for the ultimate bad ass’ role in his upcoming fantasy-action film, “The Last Witch Hunter.” He recently posted a picture of him, in his Facebook fanpage, sporting a long beard and a weird (mohawk?) haircut. And you know what? He still appeared bad ass (and scary).

Check out the images HERE and HERE.

From the looks of it, not only is he sporting the looks that will cause humans to turn out of his way, but he will also be bringing the nervousness on when he starts hunting for witches. From Cinema Blend, they would describe the Vin Diesel in those images to be the feasible fusion of “a thoughtful philosopher and an untamed warrior.”

As of late, there are still no further updates on the film’s premise or storyline, but basically, the stoic actor plays the role of Kaldur, an eponymous immortal death harbinger of all sorceresses.  According to Screen Rant, the warrior named Kaldur has been battling witches throughout the millennia and up to the present-day Manhattan. As such will be the time when another witch queen plans on exposing a horrific plague in all of humanity. With the full blast effort of stopping the witch’s evil plans, he teams up with a rogue witch who seemed to have developed a form of fondness over the human race.

“The Last Witch Hunter” is currently in production, and Diesel is joined in by you-know-nothing-Jon-Snow “Game of Thrones” actress Rose Leslie, who will play as the reformed witch; French actress Julie Englelbrecht, who plays as the antagonistic evil queen witch. Elijah Wood, Michael Caine and Ólafur Darri Ólafsson are also joining the full on official casting. It is penned by duo Cory Goodman and Melisa Wallack and actively helmed by director Breck Eisner.

There are still no further updates on the film’s release date, but based on Diesel’s posting: “Kaldur state of mind… The Last Witch Hunter. Fall 2015!” the movie shall be slated for a fall 2015 release.

That concludes our update on “The Last Witch Hunter.” Stay tuned here on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates in the entertainment scene.
