The Voice Season 6 Recap: Episode 26 Live Semifinals Featuring the Top 5 Performances [WATCH VIDEOS]

One more week left and “The Voice” Season 6 will crown its winner! Last May 12, 2014, on “The Voice” Season 6 Episode 26 “Live Semifinals,” the Top 5, Christina Grimmie, Jake Worthington, Kat Perkins, Kristen Merlin and Josh Kaufman, did all their best to impress the coaches and the audience. Read on for MNG’s “The Voice” Season 6 recap of Episode 26 “Live Semifinals,” featuring the Top 5 performances.

Each singer performed two songs – one song is chosen by the coach and one is chosen by themselves. The best part? All of their performances were amazing!

Usher opened up the show and performed his brand new single “Good Kisser.”

Then, it was the Top 5’s turn to perform and on their first round, they performed the songs that were picked by their coaches.

1. Kristen Merlin was the first performer and she sang Miranda Lambert’s “Gunpowder & Lead.”

2. Next was Josh Kaufman, who performed John Legend’s “All Of Me.”

3. Kat Perkins sang Sia’s “Chandelier.”

4. Jake Worthington sang Waylon Jennings’ “Good Ol’ Boys.”

5. And for the last performer for the first round, we had Christina Grimmie who performed Imogen Heap’s “Hide and Seek.”

And just like that, the first round was wrapped up.

Next up is the second round in which the Top 5 will perform songs that they have picked themselves.

1. The second round opened up with Josh Kaufman who performed One Republic’s “Love Runs Out.”

2. Then, Kat took the stage and sang Frozen’s hit song “Let It Go.”

3. It was Kristen’s turn to perform and she chose Jewel’s “Foolish Games.”

4. Meanwhile, Christina covered Fun’s “Some Nights.”

5. Jake wrapped up the night with Bryan Adams’ “Heaven.”

The Top 5’s performances of the night were just amazing and the coaches have nothing bad to say about them. In fact, all of them were so impressed with their contestants and because of this, it looks like America will have a difficult decision to make on who will go and who will stay.
