“The Voice” Season 6 held its final night of performances for the Top 3 finalists namely Christina Grimmie, Josh Kaufman and Jake Worthington. Now, the question is, who’s going to win”The Voice” in 2014? For now, we’ll take you back on their rocking performances. Read on for MNG’s “The Voice” Season 6 recap of Episode 28 “Live Finale” featuring the Top 3 performances.
The top 3 performers sang 3 songs: one chosen by America, one chosen by their coach and the last one a duet with their coach.
Let’s start with Christina Grimmie. America chose “Wrecking Ball” by Miley Cyrus for Christina. This was also her song during the Blind Auditions.
Christina performed with her coach, Adam Levine, and they sang Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know.”
And then she performed Elvis’ “Can’t Help Falling in Love.”
As for Josh Kaufman, he performed The Police’s “Every Breath You Take” together with his coach, Usher.
While America chose Stevie Wonder’s “Signed, Sealed, Delivered I’m Yours” for Kaufman to sing.
And then, he sang Adele’s “Set Fire to the Rain.”
Then, we had the last performer, Jake Worthington, he sang Keith Whitley’s “Don’t Close Your Eyes,” the song that America chose for him to sing.
Worthington’s coach Blake Shelton, chose Richard Marx’s “Right Here Waiting” and he did shine on this one!
Now, a duet with his coach, Blake was in order and both sang Hank Williams Jr.’s “A Country Boy Can Survive.”
Aside from the awesome performances by the Top 3contestants, the coaches also performed several songs as well.
Shakira and Blake both performed “Medicine.”
Adam Levine and Usher performed “How Does It Feel” by D’ Angelo.
