The Voice Season 6 Recap: Top 12 Results
Adam’s Team or Team Adam performed “Sledgehammer” by Peter Gabriel and he was joined onstage by Delvin Choice, Kat Perkins, and Christina Grimmie. All of them are dressed in black and white. See their performance below:
As for Team Blake, they performed Travis Tritt’s “Put Some Drive in Your Country.” Team Blake includes Sisaundra Lewis, Audra McLaughlin and Jake Worthington. Their performance was amazing as the contestants really enjoyed themselves while they’re performing.
The Bottom Three were T.J. Wilkins, Dani Moz and Tess Boyer. T.J. Wilkins is Usher’s while Moz and Boyer are both Shakira’s. Each contestant performed their best to save themselves.
T.J. performed Edwin McCain’s “I’ll Be”
Dani performed Adele’s “Turning Tables”
And Tess Boyer performed Kelly Clarkson’s “Dark Side”
“The Voice” Season 6 uses “The Voice” Save, in which viewers are given 5 whole minutes at the end of each episode to try and save their favourite of the bottom three by tweeting the name of the contestant and using the hashtag #VoiceSave. What was more exciting about this season is that viewers can see the results on the bottom of the screen all throughout the commercial break.
Carson finally reveals Tess Boyer as the one who got saved by the #VoiceSave, but this meant goodbye to T.J. Wilkins and Dani Moz.
We all have seen Tess Boyer lost a number of battles throughout the season, she’s been traded between teams and even got the fewest votes this week for her very first live performance. However, it seems like no one’s stopping Boyer because she might just reach the finish line with her awesome performance this episode.
