The Voice Season 7 Recap: September 23, 2014 Episode [Watch Videos]

The Voice” Season 7 has premiered, and the four coaches have gathered new members to their team. The show continued with their blind auditions, and the coaches were able to acquire more team members. Read on for further details.

DaNica Sherney

She opened the episode with her rendition of “Big White Room” by Jessie J. Gwen, Pharell and Adam turned their seats around and guess who she chose? She’s on Pharell’s team this time.

Joe Kirk

He sang Ed Sheeran’s “Lego House” and four coaches turned their seats around to face him. Joe picked Team Adam.

Mennlik Zergabachew

A singer with a penchant for reggae music sang Sublime’s “Santeria” and chose Gwen over Blake.

Raegan James, 15 years old

He sang a rendition of Ed Sheeran’s “Give Me Love.” Both Gwen and Blake turned their seats around, but Gwen lost him as he chose Team Blake.

Taylor Phelan

He played “Sweater Weather” by The Neighbourhoods and won the hearts of the four coaches who turned all of their seats around. Pharell got another one for his team this time.

Sugar Joans

Her father was a singer for Sergio Mendes in the 1980s, Joe Pizzulo, and she sang “Chain of Fools” by Aretha Franklin. Gwen and Blake turned around to face her at the last minute, and Sugar decided to go with Team Gwen.

Taylor Brashears

She sang Loretta Lynn’s “You Ain’t Woman Enough,” and the three coaches turned their seats around except Gwen. Taylor then joined Blake’s team.

Andy Cherry

He sang Tears for Fears’ “Everybody Wants to Rule the World,” but no one turned their seats around.

Maiya Sykes

Having a strong musical background with her family who has influenced her passion for music, she sang Sam Smith’s “Stay With Me” and has won the hearts of the four coaches and chose to go with Pharell’s team.

To cap this episode off, Pharell has gained more this time, and we also saw a lot of great performers.
