AMC’s “The Walking Dead” finally wrapped up its Season 4 with the most thrilling and action-packed finale. And just like their previous seasons, it ended with a cliffhanger. Read on for “The Walking Dead” Season 4 Finale recap.
“The Walking Dead” Season 4 Finale Recap:
Terminus was seen as a “too good to be true” community with only one resident who greeted Glenn’s group while grilling something, all with a warm smile on her face – the kind of smile that will make you suspicious especially amidst the zombie plague. After so many speculations or theories about the community, yes, it looks like Terminus’ residents actually practice cannibalism!
As for the whole group, no, they are not all back together, only some of them are. And, there’s vengeful Joe who finally came face to face with Rick’s group (Michonne and Carl) and is so ready to kill them. They underestimated Rick’s temper when they attempted to rape Carl, and fans were surprised to see a different side of Rick here. As we all have seen, Rick changed into something else with all the tragedies that have struck his life. And fans became doubtful if the “I got this” attitude of Rick Grimes would come back.
Let’s not forget Daryl Dixon when he acted very noble again by offering himself to Joe to save Rick’s life. Oh and of course, the amazing fighting skills of Michonne for disarming the guy holding her stage was really incredible, no surprise there. This incident reunited Daryl with Rick, Carl and Michonne.
Going back to Terminus, Rick’s group reached it fine but being tactical and all, they didn’t knock on the door and asked to come in, what they did was scout the area and go commando but Terminus was prepared for the likes of them and they were caught. However, the Terminus people want to show their guests that they are “friendly” and “warm” people so they offered them food from the grill as they confiscated their weapons while smiling warmly at them. This is the time when Rick noticed Hershel’s pocket watch chain on one of the guys.
The guys attacked in a way that they keep missing Rick’s group with their bullets (seriously??) but caught up with them and locked them into a train car. Terminus showed signs that they are cannibals, with the pile of bones, and the words “Never again. Never Trust. Us First, Always” painted on the wall.
Season 4 leaves us with the group locked in a train car, Rick reclaiming his leader role and the sense of humanity amidst the apocalypse.
And that’s “The Walking Dead” Season 4 Finale recap. “The Walking Dead” Season 5 returns this October 2014.
