“The Walking Dead” debuted its second half of Season 5 with Episode 9 “What Happened, What’s Going On.” It was very shocking when one of the main cast members bid goodbye. Read below for the full recap.
The episode opened with random images: Beth’s burial, a painting of a house, a picture of twin boys and then we also heard Gabriel reading a scripture from the bible and we Lizzie and Mika suddenly appeared who seems to be okay and all smiles and we heard Mika say “It’s better now.” And then there’s blood on the painting.
Yeah, it was kinda confusing at first but you know that by the end of the episode everything will make perfect sense and it did. So before we conclude those images, let me take you through what went down this episode and how it’s related to the images we’ve seen when this episode kicked off.
I actually thought that the episode itself will focus more on Noah’s home but it didn’t. So Rick, Michonne, Tyrees and Noah all headed to Noah’s home. When they got there they knew right away that something went wrong because the place was hacked and there were no residents to be found only a few walkers. The place was completely deserted. Rick brought Noah there. Noah told him that Beth was planning to go with him there and all Rick could do for Beth was to take Noah to his home. They explored the place and Michonne was so disgusted that she took out her anger on the walkers. She told them that they should still go to D.C even if there’s no cure.
Tyreese and Noah headed to Noah’s home and when they got there, Noah was devastated to see his mom’s body lying around without her head. Noah knew that even his twin brothers are already dead. Tyreese explored the house and got inside Noah’s brothers’ room. He was looking at the pictures when one of the brothers bit his arm from behind. Noah immediately ran to him and killed his brother and went out for help.
Tyreese was left in that room, lying and having hallucinations with Lizzie, Mika, Bob, Governor and Beth around him. They were all smiling, telling him that everything’s going to be okay. He even heard Martin’s voice saying that it’s going to be him to get killed.
When Michonne got there, he salvaged Tyreese’s arm and they all drove back to camp but Tyreese didn’t make it. So, that explains the images during the first part of this episode!
