It’s been a while since we last saw a zombie-infested episode and in “The Walking Dead” Season 5, Episode 14 “Spend” we were able to witness another gruesome zombie episode and one death. Read on for the full recap.
Okay, let’s start with Father Gabriel who’s completely shady. He went to Deanna to tell her that Rick and his crew are bad people and even told her what they did before they arrived at Alexandria. It’s so ironic that Rick and crew did all of those stuff to survive yet Father Gabriel himself saved only himself. Remember the time that he locked himself inside the parish and wouldn’t let anyone in? So much for being a priest.
Glenn, Noah and Nick went for a supply run. That’s when things started to go downhill when they found themselves stuck in a revolving door. This is seriously one of the most gruesome zombie encounters that the show has had. The three tried to escape. Glenn and Noah were on one side while Nick was on the other and the walkers are coming at them from the open sides of the door. It’s like a terrifying tug-of-war.
Fortunately, Eugene has arrived to help (yes, he has finally grown a pair people!) and drove his truck right the front door so the other side would be clear. Glen, on the other hand, was strategizing and planned to break a window so they could get a weapon but Nick had a plan on his own – run, and he did. So that left Noah and Glenn and it killed Noah.
Yes, Noah died. He has always been the nice guy, he’s actually the one that the group likes but of course he has to die.
Meanwhile back at Alexandria, Carol suspects that there’s a possible abuse happening in Sam’s house when he asked for a weapon for his protection.
When Glen and the group came back and Deanna received news that her son is dead she had this look on her face, which says that whatever Father Gabriel told her is the truth.
