The fifth season of “The Walking Dead” has wrapped up but we already have some Season 6 spoilers for you!
The cast and crew of “The Walking Dead” is already prepping to film Season 6 and a date has been set for production. May 4, 2015 signals the first day of production for the “TWD” team. Not only that, according to the show’s location manager, Michael Riley, most of the action that we will see next season will be inside the Alexandria Safe-Zone location but there is one whole episode where we will see Rick and the Alexandria people outside the walls.
Also, new areas are being explored for the 6th season of the show as most of the roads during the fifth season have been “wore out” so fans can expect new roads/areas.
There is also an image that managed to get its head out of the Internet that shows that there is to be a new wall in the Alexandria Safe-Zone, which suggests that Rick and his crew will take more steps to further protect the community.
The series chief Scott Gimple also gave a few details on what to expect on the upcoming season. He indicated that, “it will undergo a reinvention of sorts and will cover more ambitious themes and storylines while amping up volume in terms of action.” Producer Gale Hurd also shared that the walkers will be a bigger threat this coming season.
The premiere date for “The Walking Dead” Season 6 hasn’t been announced yet but the show will most likely air on October 2015.
