Danai Gurira is not only filming Tupac Shakur’s biopic “All Eyez On Me.” She is also set to reprise her role as Michonne in “The Walking Dead” Season 7, and she was recently asked for spoilers for the upcoming season of the AMC series.

In an interview with E! News on the red carpet at the Tony Awards, Gurira admitted that she knows the identity of the mysterious victim attacked by Negan (Jeffrey Dean Morgan) in “The Walking Dead” Season 6 finale titled “Last Day On Earth.” However, the actress was not willing to spill the beans.

“Yeah, I know, I know what’s happening,” Gurira told the publication. “I’ll tell you this much, I know something. I know a little bit more than you.”

In “Last Day On Earth,” which was written by Scott M. Gimple and Matthew Negrete and directed by Greg Nicotero, Negan randomly chose one of the members of Rick (Andrew Lincoln) and bludgeoned the victim. Since the attack was shown from the character’s viewpoint, the viewers have yet to find out who the victim was.

Gurira has been playing Michonne in “The Walking Dead” since 2012. On the big screen, the last live action film she starred in was the drama film “Mother Of George,” which was released on Jan. 18, 2013.

Returning to the big screen after three years, Gurira is playing Afeni Shakur in “All Eyez On Me” opposite Demetrius Shipp Jr. as Tupac Shakur. The mother of the late rapper died of heart attack on May 2.

Aside from Gurira, Morgan and Lincoln, “The Walking Dead” Season 7 is also welcoming back Lauren Cohan, Michael Cudlitz, Seth Gilliam and Lennie James as Maggie Greene, Sgt. Abraham Ford, Father Gabriel Stokes and Morgan Jones, respectively. The new season premieres on AMC on Oct. 9.

Meanwhile, “Con Man” star Henry Rollins recently talked about the role of Negan, which he auditioned for but failed to get. He told Forbes that Morgan “looks almost exactly like the comic book rendering.”
