“The Walking Dead” star Norman Reedus recently made a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live” and shot comedian, Pete Davidson after mistaking him as a zombie. Read on to learn more about this scoop.
Norman Reedus plays the role of Daryl Dixon on the hit series, “The Walking Dead.” While the show might have ended with a shocking season finale, Reedus definitely knows how to turn his character from serious to fun.
Reedus recently made a surprise appearance on “Saturday Night Live” on April 4. He showed up as a cameo for his character, Daryl along with his infamous crossbow and costume.
The show went on and “Weekend Update” host Colin Jost introduced Pete Davidson, who seemed like he was still shocked from the season finale of “The Walking Dead.”
“It scared me Colin. It scared me bad, I’m kind of like freaked out right now,” Davidson said on the show’s season finale.
Davidson went on and said that the show could be “a glimpse into the near future.” He also admitted that he smokes weed at times, which could take a toll on him in the future should the zombie apocalypse really happen.
He also expressed his worry that when the zombie apocalypse happens, he will be one of the first few who will get shot because people will mistake him for a zombie because he’s always high.
“They’re going to shoot me. When I’m high, it’s really easy to mistake me for a zombie,” Davidson remarked.
He went on and described himself with glazed and bloodshot eyes, sluggish appearance, and shuffled walk.
Jost tells him that he could easily stop smoking pot, but Davidson insists that he came on set to seek help for the zombie apocalypse. Jost reassures him that he will never be mistaken as a zombie and just in time, Daryl comes in and shoots his arrow right across his chest.
Jost tells him that Davidson is not a zombie. Reedus acts surprised and notices Davidson’s pale complexion and slow movement.
“There’s an arrow in my chest and I feel no pain because this weed is fine,” he reminds the audience.
