Walkthrough of Most Complicated Battlefield 4 Easter Egg Ever [VIDEO]

Ah, Easter eggs. These little somethings are cute or fun or something not exactly needed in the progression of the game. They typically take effort and luck or a combination of both to reveal. And now, what could be the most elaborate Battlefield 4 Easter egg has been found.

This particular Easter egg first requires skills in Morse code and knowledge of Belarusian. A hidden message will then be revealed: Julian Manolov of DICE, also known as JJJU, says in Belarusian Morse code, “Did you miss me? Good luck. JJJU.” JJJU is known for his creation of other elaborate Easter eggs but this one probably takes the cake.

PC Gamer came out with a full article explaining the Battlefield 4 mystery. First, be on an unranked server. Look for several lit lamps in the new Legacy Operations map “Dragon Valley.” Look for a phantom skull on a pillar and when you stick around for a bit, the lamp starts to flash. This is indeed Morse code in Belarusian. You get the above message from JJJU afterwards.

Here is where it gets very complicated. You have to search for 7 tiny, well-hidden interactive buttons. Interacting with them lights up some lamps first noticed in the search. After which, and this is different every time the server is restarted, all 20 lamps must be turned on. After this is done, a confirmation will be heard but nothing amazing happens. Yet.

Go back to the original skull sign and behind it will be a keypad. Click it and more Morse code will be revealed via the lamps. It is a long message almost four minutes long and says, “When night falls over the old factory a secret lurks in the openness of the north woods. Multiply the letters of the longest word and the one after it to form the code.”

This gives a clue to a different map, the Zavod: Graveyard Shift. Going to a specific rock you will hear what seems like slowed down spoken word. Apparently, this is Battlefield Friends “Birdy Legs” which Battlefield fans would know very well. Now, get the numerical value of each letter and multiply. You get the code 83980800000. Input the code in Dragon Valley. More Morse code after this.

It says, “To claim your prize now join a ranked conquest large game, stand at the west side of the shaft of the north-western water tower for 2 minutes, then use this individual code there 131929664…” An interaction button appears. Another keypad will appear in front of you. Input code and you get “promoted.”

What you get is the exclusive DICE LA camo. However, there are a LOT of specifics so watch the video below:
