“Warcraft” movie has been receiving appraisal from several techies as they are able to do this fantasy film by bringing in the game to life with the help of technology. Read On!
Actor Ben Foster who will play Wizard Medivh in the upcoming movie, promoted the Lance Armstrong movie “The Program,” and along with that he puts director Duncan Jones in pedestal as he considers him doing something very intelligent in the ‘Warcraft’ movie. He combined huge practical sets and cutting edge digital effects to provide intimacy that is never seen before in the fantasy film history, IGN reported.
He explains that when you are in the woods, he builds the Forest and when you are in the castle, he builds the Castle. He stressed out the words ‘It is a Huge, Huge movie’ and added that they have invested pushing the technology in a way he has never seen.
Foster also stated that the director loved the game, played the game, and the movie was filled with persons that have spent years in the Warcraft World. It was also spooky for him because he didn’t know anything about the game but he didn’t really think about the video game, it’s like watching a performance to life.
On the other hand, Travis Fimmel is going to play the role of “Sir Anduin Lothar” in the movie adaptation. He stated that his fighting is going to be more different to what “Viking” has. The actor also joked how the costume is like wearing a table and very visually biased. Together with him is Toby Kebbell who plays Durotan in the upcoming movie.
Director Duncan Jones has proudly said in an interview that the persons behind effects (ILM) of the movie are the same persons who did the effects for “Star Wars” movie franchise. He hints that the plot will be all about heroes on both sides who try to avoid conflicts in spite of the fact that the enemies leave them with no choice. It will not just be all about the battles of human race against the Orcs, Crossmap reported.
“Warcraft” is expected to hit the theaters in June 3, 2016.
