Warner Brothers may have unveiled 10 of their upcoming DC titled pics all headlining throughout the years until 2020, but the studio does not rest there, recently announcing the rename for its digital unit as well as revealing WB’s other projects currently in development. Aside from unveiling 10 of their DC titled tentpoles last week, the studio has announced that the said unit will be renamed as “Blue Ribbon Content division” last Tuesday, revealing 10 projects, live action and animation, it has in store.
According to Entertainment Weekly (EW), WB and visual effects company Otoy bring to fan "Batman: The Animated Series Experience." It was said that users can "experience and talk through a virtual rendered Bat cave as seen on “Batman: The Animated Series through the use of "virtual reality devices" such as the Oculus Rift and Samsung Galaxy VR."
“Critters”, written by Teen Titans Go!’s Michael Jelenic and Aaron Horvat and based on the New Line Cinema about an imminent alien infestation in Earth.
“Ginger Snaps” a comedy series following a group of young girls scheming their way into power in the world of Ginger Snaps.
“Golden Revenge”, a comedy series following a dog and a cat forced to live in the wilds as their owner is made to choose between his new wife and his pets. The series will see the pet’s struggles to come back home while plotting revenge on the side.
“Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles”, an animated series set to debut in Machinima on 2015. It is based on the animated pic of the same name which was also set for a 2015 release. The series will show the dark side of the League fans would’ve never dreamed of.
“Ouroboros” follows the tale of two cops. In the series, they must face several paranormal experiences including possessions in a single night in Wisconsin.
“Play It Again, Dick” is a sort of spin-off of “Veronica Mars” featuring Ryan Hansen while “RejecTED” is a show about "rejected and lesser-known speeches."
Moreover, DC also unveiled some updates on various DC superhero projects such as "Static Shock" and a untitled Mortal Kombat project. “Static Shock” is a live action series featuring the DC superhero Virgil Hawkins a.k.a. the electric powered Static while the game-based project will co-release alongside the next game of the franchise.
From these 10 projects, “Mortal Kombat”, “Justice League”, and “Play It Again, Dick” had series orders with “Play It Again, Dick” already been premiered.
