23-year-old singer and songwriter Demi Lovato recently performed at Seattle’s Fall Ball on Saturday, November 14. In the said event, she covered Adele’s new hit song “Hello.” Lovato delivered an emotional and heartfelt performance and of course, she nailed it! She definitely wowed the crowd in the said event.
“Hello” is one of the songs in Adele’s first album in three years, “25.” It will be recalled that the 27-year-old 10-time Grammy winner delivered her own intense performance of the song at the BBC One Special on Thursday, November 5.
According to US Weekly, it was not the first time the former Disney star dug deep into her emotions. It was reported that Demi Lovato, who just released her new hit album, “Confident,” in October, recently opened up about her relationship with her estranged father. Her father, Patrick Lovato, passed away in 2013. “Father,” which is one of the songs in her new album details her complicated relationship with him.
“I was very conflicted when he passed because he was abusive. He was mean. He wasn’t capable of raising a family, and it was because of his mental illness. To know that it wasn’t fully his fault really was saddening to me, and I wanted to write about it. I wanted to process it,” Lovato shared in a recent behind-the-scenes video.
It will be recalled that Demi Lovato had also been open about her own struggles with bipolar and eating disorders, self-harm, and substance abuse. She also went to rehab in 2011 to seek help for the said issues.
