Marvel fans, we have a new “Spiderman!”
Tom Holland has just been cast as the next live-action “Spiderman.” The 19-year old English actor isn’t new in the biz because he has played roles in various films and series such as “Wolf Hall” and “The Impossible.”
Sony Executive Amy Pascal is thrilled to have Holland on board, “Sony, Marvel, Kevin and I all knew that for Peter Parker, we had to find a vibrant, talented young actor capable of embodying one of the most well-known characters in the world. With Tom, we’ve found the perfect actor to bring Spiderman’s story into the Marvel Cinematic Universe,” she said to marvel.com.
This marks Holland at the third “Spiderman” following Andrew Garfield and Tobey Maguire.
Just last February 2015, Marvel and Sony Pictures have both signed a deal to work together for “Spiderman” and a part of the deal is having “Spiderman” debut in “Captain America: Civil War” before he stars in his own movie, which will be directed by Jon Watts.
I wouldn’t mind meeting a new friendly neighbor and Holland seems to be the perfect person for the role. He has this vibe in him that screams Peter Parker. This is going to be exciting and a lot of fans are anticipating the new movie. Would it be better than the previous ones? THAT we have to find out.
The new “Spiderman”movie is set to hit cinemas July 28, 2017.
