This Weekend D23 Expo Without ‘Star Wars: Episode 7 The Force Awakens’ Trailer
Fans of Star Wars: Episode 7 will have to wait a little longer to watch the first official trailer of the movie. Director J.J. Abram decides not to showcase the trailer in the D23 Expo this weekend.

J. Abrams, director of “Star Wars: Episode 7” told in an interview with Entertainment Weekly that no new trailer of “Star Wars: Episode 7” will screen at D23 this weekend. This comes as discouraging news for movie reporters because this means that they will be indulging in one of the worst trends in the history by pretending movie new to theme park news instead of discussing about the actual footage of new “Star Wars: Episode 7 The Force Awakens”.

It is a fact, no footage will be shown, be it behind the scenes or otherwise, says director J.J. Abrams, viewers can get to see the trailer during the falls. He is aware of that fact that fans across the globe are quite desperate to have a look at the film and the director assures that for the Disney conventioneers there will definitely be something compelling.

According to idigitaltimes.com, Abrams expresses his thanks for the fans that came at D23 and the movie crew was pretty thrilled to see them all. He do realise that it will be fun to show something at such an event, but they are trying not to rush for the occasion.

Reporters while talking to Abrams expressed their desire to know about the current position of the movie. He said, the crew is still working, editing and refining the cut, and that they are pretty excited to see the movie come together. During editing we come across certain things that are not required and need to be pulled out.

The director is of the view that theme parks cover the movie in a way that they are not movies; they are being treated as if they are a brand. Coverage of Star Wars theme park is treated in a manner similar to “Star Wars: Episode 7 The Force Awakens” and it is a steady illusion of their biggest movie series.

He is of the view that theme parks are for children. The way movies are projected for the large audience has to be changed in the coming time.
