Fellow F1 drivers, sports persons, his fans and well-wishers across the globe express their support to Michael Schumacher through the social media after learning the news that he is out of a coma and has returned to rehab clinic to carry on his recovery. The F1 legend was transported by a private ambulance to the University Hospital Lausanne in Switzerland. Read on to learn more about Movie News Guide’s (MNG) Michael Schumacher’s health update and his well-wishers’ responses.

The hospital is less than an hour’s drive away from his £50 million residence on the shores of Lake Geneva. The seven-time world champion used to reside there with his wife, Corinna, and their two children, Michael, 14, and Gina Marie, 16.

“Positive news that Michael is not in a coma anymore. Everyone in The Team is thinking of you!,” said Red Bull Racing in a Twitter post.

“Good start of the week with the news of Michael! So happy this is going in the good direction!,” posted Fernando Alonso.

“Great to hear some positive news about Michael’s condition,”  expressed Jenson Button.

“Very good news that Schumacher is finally out of coma and has left hospital after nearly six months,” posted Indian racer Narain Karthikeyan.

“But first of all, great to hear positive news about Michael Schumacher no longer being in a coma. Keep fighting Champion!”  shared Sahara Force India.

“Schumacher out of coma & out of hospital…..just in time for Germany’s 1st game of this World Cup. Inspiration,” posted Rio Ferdinand relating the news to Germany’s 1st match of this World Cup.

“I hope for him that he managed to get through rehab as quickly as possible and join us again soon at Formula 1,” told the Austrian former F1 champion Niki Lauda to RTL television, which was published on The Guardian.

Our thoughts and prayers go with Schumacher family in this trying time. We at MNG pray for the German-racing legend’s speedy and complete recovery. And that’s it for Michael Schumacher’s health update. For more details about Michael Schumacher and his family, stay tuned here on MNG.
