The actors may have aged 14 year,s but they still nailed the TV adaptation of the film “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp” on its first ever REAL trailer and we love it. Read below for the full details.
When it comes to celebrity overload, TIME Magazine reported that the movie takes the cake: Amy Poehler, Jon Hamm, Bradley Cooper, Paul Rudd, Christopher Meloni, Jason Schwartzman, Elizabeth Banks, Kristen Wiig, Lake Bell, Josh Charles, John Slattery, Michael Cera and Jordan Peele. One of the best things ever happened to the small screen is TV adaptation from classic films and “Wet Hot American Summer: First Day of Camp” is surely one of the best. It was especially because of the fact that its cast members have come back for the second time around and that’s very rare, though!
Netflix has released a teaser of the upcoming reboot weeks before this trailer came out. The teaser already gave us so much feels because of its VHS-tinted concept that took us back down memory lane.
The trailer opens up with talk of summer love and fun and a camp meeting that Paul Rudd crashed. And to make things better, the antics got even goofier than last time with Cooper and Poehler’s drama club, Meloni’s cafeteria chef and Gene’s road to complete madness.
The series will have 8 episodes and will come to Netflix on July 31, 2015.
It is truly one of the best limited series ever been made so far and we are looking forward to it. What do you think of the trailer? Let us know by posting your comments below!
