J. K. Rowling joked about it and told him she knew that Malfoy has always been a Gryffindor. “@TomFelton I could’ve told you that years ago. I just didn’t want to spoil your motivation ;),” Rowlingtweeted.

Felton previously made it to the headlines at Pottermore when Harry Potter author J. K. Rowling shared what happened to Malfoy after Voldemort’s defeat. Now, Malfloy has finally joined Pottermore and was surprised when the Sorting Hat put him into the house of Gryffindor instead of Slytherin.
There is no denying that Malfoy wants to be a Slytherin forever. While attending the Diagon Alley grand opening at the Universal Studios in Florida, Felton told E! News that in real life, he wants to be in Slytherin. Well, the Sorting Hat thought otherwise. And how would Harry Potter react to this?
