What Stops Prince Harry From Getting a Girl?

One of the most eligible bachelors in the world, Prince Harry, grandson of the Queen Elizabeth II, is single and happy. But what’s stopping him from having a girlfriend? Read below for more details.

Prince Harry have been single for a year now as his relationship with the granddaughter of Edward Curzon, 6th Earl Howe, Cressida Bonas, came to an end. They have been together for an on-and-off relationship of three years which ended on April 2014. But even if the royal has been single for a while now, he asserts in an interview with the Sunday Mirror that he’s “very happy not having a girlfriend.”

The royal bachelor has been compared to Bridget Jones, the Renée Zellweger character from the movie “Bridget Jones’ Diary” who was famous for her desperate journey for love where all the messy details were written in her infamous diary. But the prince laughs off the comparison. He said in the interview that it was “cool” being single.

It seems that the royal highness has been very busy as he only recently returned from Australia and New Zealand. He spent five weeks with the Australian Defence Force before going to New Zealand for an official tour. He wasn’t present to welcome his new niece, Princess Charlotte, daughter of his older brother Prince William and sister-in-law Kate Middleton, since he was in Australia when she was born on May 2, 2015, according to Hello! Online. He’s excited to meet his niece and be reunited with his family when he comes back in the U.K.

Another project that has been keeping the handsome Prince of Wales bustling is his huge passion in giving aid to the injured servicemen and women. He helmed the auspicious Invictus Games, which was an event likened to the Paralympics, held in September.

But the project is set aside for a while as the prince is set to sail to Africa for the summer to work with conservation groups centered in illegal poaching and wildlife trade. He revealed that he “feels more like himself” in Africa. “To actually get the chance to embed myself with the top vet in southern Africa, travel with him for three weeks and every job he gets called up to do, I follow him. That’s like my dream,” Prince Harry said in the interview with Sunday Mirror.
