The new “Avengers” trailer hit the online world yesterday and has left some huge impact, as well as questions on the film franchise’s fans. For an instance, who is that woman in the cave in the trailer? Read on to find out.

Monday’s new “Avengers” trailer has certainly made an impact to the franchise’s fans and more importantly has left more questions to the inquiring minds of its viewers, specifically the identity of the mystery woman on the cave. Well, we have rounded out who this mystery woman might possibly be.

1. T’challa’s sister, Shuri. It certainly seems that the woman in the trailer is of African descent, and with T’challa debuting as the Black Panther in “Captain America: Civil War,” we surely can’t rule out the possibility that Shuri,  T’Challa’s younger sister and future Black Panther, might lay out the groundwork for the Black Panther mythos in the upcoming film, prior to the Panther’s debut in “Civil War.” Moreover, “Black Panther” villain Ulysses S. Claw was prominently featured in the previous trailer as well as in this one. Claw had a long history with the Wakandan Royalty given that he assassinated T’Challa and Shuri’s father, T’Chaka.

2. Dora Milaje. Another set of characters connected to the Wakandan Empire. The Dora Milaje are an all-female set of personal bodyguards of the Black Panther and, as such, are highly skilled and trained in the arts of weaponry and martial arts, able to combat various foes ranging from robots to magical forces. In the comics, they have slain Doombots with ease and even battled Black Widow to a stalemate.

The “Avengers: Age of Ultron” is the 11th installment in the Marvel Cinematic Universe and a follow up to the events of the original film. With S.H.I.E.L.D.’s abolition on “Captain America: Winter Soldier” and the Avengers needing a hiatus from stopping threats, Stark creates Ultron, a self-aware, self-teaching artificial intelligence, who can assess threats and control Stark’s Iron Legion. However, things go awry as his plan quickly backfires when Ultron decides that humans are the main enemy and sets out to eradicate them from Earth. The superhero team will confront newcomers Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, as well as the Vision.

The original cast will be suiting up to reprise their respective roles: Cobie Smulders, Don Cheadle, Hayley Atwell, Thomas Kretschmann and Stellan Skarsgård reprise their roles from previous MCU films as Maria Hill, Col. James “Rhodey” Rhodes, Peggy Carter, Baron Wolfgang von Strucker and Erik Selvig. Claudia Kim was cast as a scientist and friend of Tony Stark, while Andy Serkis is playing an undisclosed role in the film. James Spader plays central villain Ultron. “Avengers” co-creator Stan Lee is set to make a cameo appearance.

Paul Bettany, who voiced J.A.R.V.I.S. (Tony Stark’s AI butler) in previous films, will now play the synthezoid Vision, an android who is able to control his density, which enables him to phase through walls, fly or have a diamond-hard near invulnerability.  The Vision will be joined by Magneto’s twins, Pietro Maximoff and Wanda Maximoff/Quicksilver and Scarlet Witch, played by Aaron Taylor-Johnson and Elizabeth Olsen respectively.

“Avengers: Age of Ultron” is scheduled for release on May 1, 2015 in North America in 2D and IMAX 3D.
