One of Hollywood’s most awaited movies, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice keeps the pot boiling with an initial buzz that Ben Affleck’s presence has been beefed up in this much awaited superhero movie.
Umberto Gonzalez of Heroic Hollywood is reporting that Warner Bros. has urged director, Zack Snyder, to increase the part of the Dark Knight as they are left amazed with Ben Affleck’s performance as the Caped Crusader. It’s being reported that while a special screening of the rough cuts was going on, Warner Bros. executives immediately green-lit three solo films on the Dark Knight.
The movie , which is currently in the post-production phase becomes one of the most talked about in the fabric of the Hollywood market. Apparently it appears that Ben Affleck’s work as Bruce Wayne/Batman has outperformed Henry Cavil’s work as Clark Kent/Superman that leads to an obvious eclipse for Henry.
Zack Snyder claims that it was the need of the plot that required them to minimize Superman’s screen time, as per The Daily Beast.
“It’s a different Batman than the Batman that was in the Chris Nolan movies, so we have a little bit more explaining to do—and you just had a whole Superman movie.” he said.
Sources claimed that apart from the competence of performance, the production house also invested a keen reasoning, keeping a deep calculation in mind for the expanded movie market.
As “Dawn of Justice” will punch the theater on March 2016 and will kick off a lengthy slate of Justice League-related movies at Warner Bros., promoting TheCaped Crusader is a much logical trick for the production house.
Though studio interference is something unwelcome in the process of creativity for a film, there are lines of logical reasons that play beyond business reckoning. Considering the taste of the audience, it is clear that the last Superman movie “Man of Steel” spent almost two-and-a-half hours establishing Clark Kent in the DC Extended Universe, as per Forbes. Batman, on the other hand, is being thrown straight into this universe without a primer. Moreover “Man of Steel” wasn’t as much of a cultural hit as Warner Bros rather was mediocre from those standards both critically and financially.
In comparison, Ben Affleck is incredibly hot right now.
To know the truth we have to wait till March 25, 2016 when the film will fire the screens in theatres.
