Angelina Jolie has already made her mark as a director and the press is wondering whether Brad Pitt is looking to direct a movie too. Will the husband follow in the wife’s footsteps and pilot a directorial venture? Read on for the full scoop.
Three years ago, Pitt had declared that he will not act after 2014. He had declared that he was going to give up acting after he turned 50 and will instead take up some kind of a job behind the camera. Well, 2015 is here and Pitt has already acted in his wife’s directorial venture. He has also found some kind of success as an executive producer. His production venture “12 Years A Slave” has already won him an Oscar in 2014.
We wonder what made Brad Pitt announced that he would retire from acting. It’s not that he is looking tired or geriatric after 50. If the recent photo shoots with V magazine are any indication, the man still looks hot dressed down and he has always looked dapper in suits. We could go out on a limb and declare that he doesn’t look a day over forty. But that’s just us. So the big question is, “Is Brad going to direct a movie?”
And the answer is, while Brad Pitt really enjoyed producing movies, he isn’t really looking to direct a movie. E! Online reports that he firmly believes that he is happy being in his corner of the field and thinks that he is quite satisfied with his career as it stands now. He isn’t looking to direct any movies yet, but his future is still open and full of possibilities. There is a good chance that he might look into the direction in the new year, but right now he is happy to not crave to be a director.
