What will Christopher Nolan direct next?

Christopher Nolan always picks projects that are offbeat, but he always ends up making them mainstream and successful. So What Culture.com came up with a list of movies that Chris Nolan might do next year or the year after. Many of the movies listed have not been confirmed, but hope springs eternal.

Movie nerds will obviously want to be on the lookout for these movies in 2017 or even 2016 if Chris Nolan chooses to get them done in a jiffy. It is unlikely that 2016 will have any Christopher Nolan releases, but his fans will be delighted if there are some.

The first movie that fans can expect from Christopher Nolan in 2017 is “Memento 2.” The slick thriller might be given a sequel or even a reboot. It has been whispered that AMBI films have already picked up the rights to the sequel and they might be looking to sign him on, because, let’s face it, no one does Nolan better than Nolan and Memento was Nolan’s breakthrough feature, possibly even his best so far.

There is a good chance that Nolan will take into account the fact that the world has gone through a digital revolution and reframe the story or the plot, making the movie interesting to watch.

The other movie that might get made is Interstellar 2. Nolan’s last movie got a lot of attention and a sequel might just be in the making. The first movie made over 675 million dollars at the box office and Warner Brothers and Paramount might be looking to make similar money with a sequel.

Other movies that might get his attention might include a sequel to Inception, a sequel in the Batman franchise, and maybe even a James Bond movie. But as fans would already know, Christopher Nolan will most likely surprise the fans with something totally unpredictable.
