It looks like many inner goddesses were unleashed following the announcement of author E.L. James that a new “Fifty Shades of Grey” book will be released later this month. Will the new book, titled, “Grey” include Christian’s childhood? Read on to learn more about this scoop.
E.L. James announced that a new “Fifty Shades of Grey” book will be released on June 18. What makes this book more interesting than the trilogy is that this version will be told from Christian Grey’s point of view. As most readers of the book know, James released snippets of Christian’s POV after “Fifty Shades Freed,” and this has led many fans to petition to publish an entirely new book coming from Christian’s perspective.
“This book is dedicated to those readers who asked… and asked… and asked for this,” James said, according to E! News.
The “50 Shades of Grey” trilogy author also said that Christian has such a complex personality, which makes book fans curious about how his mind works and what led him into becoming that way.
“It’s been a great pleasure to return to my happy place-writing, being with Christian and Ana in their universe, and working with the fantastic team at Vintage,” the author added.
Meanwhile, many fans began speculating that “Grey” will be covering more of Christian’s childhood. In an article about the topic on MTV News, a user named “Tessie” commented that she hopes to read about Christian’s past in the upcoming “Fifty Shades” spin-off.
James previously released a chapter about Christian’s first Christmas with the Greys told from his own POV and it may be interesting to see and hear what really enters the mind of the brooding CEO of Grey Enterprise.
James, however, did not reveal the storyline of her upcoming book, “Grey.” The book might be a spin-off to the first “50 Shades” book, though, given that James has also released several chapters previously including Christian’s first encounter with Anastasia in his office and the time he visited her at work.
“Grey” will be released on Christian’s birthday, June 18. Stay tuned on Movie News Guide (MNG) for more updates.
