One Direction may disband after their 2015 “On the Road Again” tour, following rumors of Harry Styles and other 1D members quitting.

Rumors have been going around about one of the hottest boy bands today as they gear up for their latest tour, “On the Road Again.”

In less than a month, Harry, Niall, Zayn, Louis, and Liam will literally be going on the road as their latest tour brings them to 80 cities in Asia, Australia, Europe, North America and South Africa for what insiders are saying will be their “swan song.”

Will One Direction be no more?

Last year’s “Where We Are” tour earned a record-breaking $270 million for the band, but rumor has it that curly-haired Harry Styles has set his sights on Hollywood, Zayn Malik is seeking a solo career and is currently battling a drug problem, and Niall Horan has admitted to loneliness and exhaustion from the band’s nonstop schedule.

With fame comes a life of constant touring and staying trapped in hotel rooms because of overzealous fans, and maybe some of the members are beginning to chaffe.

“It can be quite frustrating being stuck in a hotel,” Horan told The Inquisitr. “I remember in Peru – I got up, went into Louis [Tomlinson’s] room and said: ‘Right, what we doing today?’ and he goes: ‘We should go shopping!’ Then we looked out the window. There were 10,000 people on the street outside our hotel.”

With the loss of 1D’s regular tour manager Paul Higgins after a falling out last year, it looks like one of the most popular boy bands today is slowly unravelling at the seams.

Even Malik and his fiancé Perrie Edwards have had to push back their wedding plans time and again because of the band’s conflicting schedules.

When One Direction’s contract with Simon Cowell’s music production company, SyCo Entertainment, expires at the end of the year, fans may just have to prepare for the possibility that One Direction will expire as a band as well.
