It has already been a year and a half since Paul Walker passed away in a tragic death. However, his brother Cody Walker is very interested in taking over Paul’s role in the upcoming “Fast & Furious 8 “sequel.
The brother of Paul Walker took a role in “Furious 7” wherein he played as Paul’s body double. “Furious 7” was reported to have made its first billion dollars after about 18 days of its release. The latest gossip in the movie industry had fans looking out on the next Furious franchise installment.
Vin Diesel, who also starred in the movie, insisted that Paul Walker wanted to make a follow up movie for fans. He also claimed that it was already decided that they would get the ball rolling for another sequel in memory of the late Paul Walker.
Last month, Vin told MTV News that he felt they were obliged to make Fast 8 because Paul Walker had already mentioned Universal’s plans of making few more racecar films before finally letting the entire crew retire.
He said that Paul Walker guaranteed “Fast & Furious 8” to take place. Vin Diesel also said that when his brother and co-star Paul guaranteed something to happen, he has to make sure that it will indeed happen. Vin also said, “Furious 7 was for Paul; 8 is from Paul.”
Of course we all know that it is impossible to have Paul Walker star in “Furious 8,” but with Cody Walker, it is something to be closely bound to happen. This was after Matt Luber, Cody’s manager, confirmed that he was interested in taking a role in “Furious 8”, reported NY Daily News. Luber said he wasn’t sure if there would be an eight installment but if indeed there was, Cody Walker would certainly entertain a conversation about a role.
